Summer is a time for opportunity

Thus I will probably be studying a lot during that time since I'm sort of jobless, and playing video games the entire summer would probably make me regret it once the school year starts back up.

When I take a break form studying however, I think I'll start drawing again. I'm pretty far behind for my age it seems (those professional mangakas are getting younger and younger these days! Oo

and I'm just learning the basics of shading and CGing, but I'll play the optimist and make some improvements.

Anyways, it's been over a year since I changed this darn journal so here's a change finally.

I'm doing all right, aside from end-of-semester projects and whatnot. Drawing is my stress relief! ^_^ Yeah, it's been a while since 2006...gosh I feel old talking like this. School's better than it was last year though, especially now that Jennie's here--she lives like a floor below me in my dorm building. xD It's been fun hanging out with her again, especially when Steven comes to visit (who, if you haven't heard, has been my boyfriend for a while now xD) because then it's like GSS all over again! Glad to hear you're doing okay! Where are you going to school again?

I'm over at duke in NC. It's a nice place, but there's not much to do in the city around here unfortunately

Oh! Runbin also goes here! He came in as a freshman this year so I've only seen him a few times around campus. But yea, how's the weekend looking? Is home close to ETSU for Thanksgiving break?

Oh cool. Duke wanted me, but I got a very strangely satisfying feeling by turning them down. xD I didn't want to fork over all of the cash to go there...I've heard it's nice though. Where is it in NC?

Oh cool! He hasn't accidentally walked into any girls' dorms yet, has he? Or popped any volleyballs on any fences? xD Tell him I said "hi", I miss that guy.

The weekend's gonna be busy because everything's starting to hit the fan at this point in the semester, but Thanksgiving's going to be a nice break. Home's about 3 and a half hours away, but I think we're going to visit my grandparents (and pretty much all of the rest my family) in NC--they live near Hendersonville. What are you going to be up to?
